Multiple Quakes Puerto Rico
Three strong earthquakes shook Puerto Rico on Tuesday morning, damaging buildings, knocking out power after another strong earthquake less than 24 hours earlier. A magnitude 6.4 quake struck just before 4:30 a.m. local time Tuesday, off the coast of southwest Puerto Rico, about 8 miles wsw of Ponce. The quake was followed 10 minutes later by a magnitude 5.6 temblor and more than a dozen aftershocks. Another magnitude 5.6 quake shook the U.S. territory a little after 7:15 a.m. Since Dec. 28, hundreds of small earthquakes have occurred in Puerto Rico. 2019 Japan Typhoon 19 / Typhoon Hagibis
Typhoon 19 (Hagibis) made landfall on October 10, 2019 just before 1900 local time at Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka Prefecture. In advance of the typhoon, millions of people across Japan were asked to evacuate due to the risk of landslides and flooding. 2019 Bahamas Hurricane Dorian
“Hurricane Dorian has caused extensive damage across the islands of Abaco and Grand Bahama in the Bahamas, according to rapid initial assessments from authorities and Red Cross officials on the ground. According to these reports, Dorian’s ferocious category 5 winds and rains have damaged houses and other buildings, leaving many people without adequate shelter. As many as 13,000 houses may have been severely damaged or destroyed. On the island of Abaco, extensive flooding is believed to have contaminated wells with saltwater, creating an urgent need for clean water.” source

2019 Hurricane Barry Situation Report
This is situation report No. 1 for flooding in Louisiana in July of 2019 based upon early indications in social media. The report contains useful links and summaries for 14 Parishes of interest in Louisiana along the path of the storm. Barry made landfall on July 13, 2019 on Marsh Island and Intracoastal City, Louisiana both times as a Category 1 hurricane, subsequently weakening to tropical storm status source.
USA 2019 Severe Weather Special Report
This special USA situation report provides detailed state summaries for storms, tornadoes, straight line winds and flooding for the past 90 days across the United States.
According to the National Weather Service, there were nearly 4,400 individual reports of severe weather reported in May alone. These included tornadoes, hail and straight-line winds, and was the highest recorded since May since 2011. Record-breaking rainfall in Oklahoma and Kansas resulted in historic flooding throughout the Arkansas River Basin, along with remnant flooding in the Missouri and Mississippi River. Record rainfall swamped the south-central U.S. over the past few weeks, leading to catastrophic flooding along the Arkansas River in both Oklahoma and Arkansas. In several locations, the river was at its highest level ever recorded, including Fort Smith, Ark. basins. source
India - Cyclone Fani May 2019
Humanity Road activated its disaster desk in advance of landfall of Cyclone Fani. This situation report number 1 contains helpful resource links and useful information based on early indications in social media. Ten thousand villages and 52 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) are likely to be affected by cyclonic storm Fan source. There are approximately 36 million in the path of Category 1 or higher conditions. Cyclone Fani was upgraded to a category 5 cyclone on 2 May and is expected to be the most severe cyclonic storm since the super cyclone of 1999 which killed 10,000 people. Source. Hurricane force winds and significant waves battered more than 600 miles of shoreline of Odisha and Bengal and West Bengal, India. More than a million people were shifted to safer areas as "extremely severe" cyclone Fani made landfall near Odisha's Puri on Friday morning. Energy infrastructure in Odisha has been completely destroyed and restoration will be a challenging task. The storm has now moved out of Odisha coast and heading to nearby states affecting weather of several countries in the Asian subcontinent. Source
Mozambique Typhoon Kenneth April 2019
Humanity Road activated on Thursday April 25, 2019 to monitor the impacts of cyclone Kenneth on Mozambique. This situation report number 1 provides early indications based on social media.
Kenneth made landfall on Mozambique's northern province of Cabo Delgado on Thursday evening, with wind speeds equivalent to a category four hurricane. Communications with the affected areas were disrupted, obscuring the full extent of the damage. There is no previous record of hurricane-force systems ever hitting the region so far north before. source

Mozambique Flooding March 2019
Humanity Road activated on Thursday March 14, 2019 with surge support from VOST Portugal (VOST Europe) on Friday to monitor the impacts of cyclone Idai on Mozambique. Situation report was published on March 19, 2019 when survivors were reportedly trapped on roofs and clinging to trees awaiting rescue, UN agencies said, across Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe, tens of thousands of people have lost their homes, while roads, bridges and crops have been washed away.

India - Cyclone Gaja

Cyclone Gaja, which made landfall near Vedaranyam in Nagapattinam in the wee hours of November 16, has claimed 45 lives across the state, according to a statement released by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on Sunday.
Health minister C Vijayabhaskar, a native of Pudukottai said the district has not faced such a monstrous cyclone since 1960. “In the last half a century, we have not seen such a ferocious cyclonic storm,” he said and appealed to the people to assist the rescue operations. Situation Report
Super Typhoon Yutu - CNMI
CNMI Situation Report No. 1 Was published on October 25, 2018. Super Typhoon Yutu is the worst storm to hit this region since 1968. As it moves away from the Marianas region, extensive damage to critical infrastructure on Saipan and Tinian has left the Commonwealth devastated with many families displaced. Relief and recovery efforts are now well underway as the CNMI Government is taking appropriate measures to ensure the safety and security of all residents in the Marianas. a request has been made to the CNMI governor for help to restore their down power poles and lines.

Kerala India Flooding 2018
Humanity Road activated its disaster desk on August 16 after severe flash flooding and landslides impacted the state of Kerala in India. This report provides early indications based on social media. See Situation Report
7.0 Earthquake Indonesia - Lombok
Humanity Road activated its disaster desk on August 5, 2018 after a M7.0 earthquake hit Lombok Island near Bali. This island was also hit by a large earthquake on July 29, 2018 which damaged an estimated 1,000 houses. There are reports that North Lombok and the 3 Gili Islands have suffered the most damage. Landslides and downed trees are cutting off North Lombok, and there are initial reports of medical needs there. There are initial reports of a lot of damage in the Gili Islands, and electricity is out. Basarnas, National Agency Search and Rescue teams are on their way to evacuate residents and tourist from Gili. See situation report
