Volunteers activated last night in response to a 5.1 Earthquake that rattled Orange County. The quake measured 5.1 and was felt in over 600 zip codes. Volunteers monitored for impacts and shared the Did you feel it links in social media. Fullerton Fire Department responded to St. Jude Hospital regarding a possible outside gas leak. They reported that No evacuations were ordered. Additionally, a home in the 2900 block of Juanita suffered earthquake-related damage and has been marked as uninhabitable. No other homes on the street appear to have suffered significant damage. No reports of earthquake-related injuries. As of 7pm Eastern on March 29, The City of Brea reported that Carbon Canyon remains closed. Residents can access, with proper ID. Olinda residents can access from Chino Hills and Brea Hills from Brea.
